The partnership of Germany and Cyprus is based on friendship, mutual interest and the fact that our economies complement each other in many ways.

A considerable number of German tourists travel to Cyprus every year to spend their holidays on the sunny island of Aphrodite and thus become good will Ambassadors of your beautiful country in Germany.
Many young Cypriots have studied at German universities to build a solid foundation for their future professional careers and to establish a close relationship towards a host country which has much to offer as far as export products, advanced technology and expertise in a broad variety of fields are concerned.

The close relations between both our countries are also reflected in economic and commercial facts and figures. The exchange of goods and services has been growing for many years and continues to show an overall upward trend. The accession of Cyprus to the European Union in 2004 has provided new chances and opportunities to strengthen our cooperation, also in the area of trade.

The foundation of the CYPRUS - GERMANY Business Association marks another important step forward in our  endeavours to strengthen the existing commercial ties and to encourage the business communities in Germany and Cyprus to work for their mutual benefit and in the interest of our economies.
I am convinced that the Association will give inspiration, plenty of incentives and also practical assistance to everyone who is prepared to contribute to our common cause in further developing the already excellent commercial relations between both our countries in an united Europe.

Dear Business Friends of Cyprus and Germany

For those of you that wish to find out more about the Association, its members and the possibilities of doing business in Cyprus and in Germany, this website will provide you with useful information and contacts.

Our Association was established under the auspices of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry in March 2008 with the aim to promote and strengthen trade and business between Cyprus and Germany and to support the businesses that might benefit from a stronger and more organised economic collaboration between the two markets. The Association is supported in its efforts to reinforce commercial and economic relationship between the two countries by the Embassy of Germany in Nicosia and the Cyprus Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Tourism.

Cyprus and Germany have strong business ties covering a wide range of areas including trade and services and especially financial services, tourism and shipping. The Association, through its distinguished professional members, encourages ‘networking’ for the promotion and stimulation of business relations and investments in the two countries.

The Website has been created to help bring business people with similar interests together. I hope that visitors will be interested to join the Association and participate in the Association’s business events.
